We support the promotion of economic freedom and oppose any type of financial regulation. In recent years, the Obama administration has unleashed a barrage of stringent regulatory measures on our financial institutions. The implementation of these regulations have had a detrimental effect on every facet of our economy from Wall Street to Main Street and everywhere in between.

Champions for Change vehemently opposes federal and state subsidized green energy production and tax incentives given to special interest organizations who profit from being politically connected. Environmental and economic prosperity can only occur if all energy producers start with a level playing field in order for free market enterprise to flourish and prosper.

Champions for Change – Last summer’s Supreme Court decision to uphold the ‘Affordable Health Care Act’, better known as ‘Obamacare’, was a crushing blow to American liberty and prosperity. At a time when American citizens are having to deal with more and more government interference, the decision to socialize our healthcare system was another kick in the teeth. The government take over of the healthcare system will result in less consumer choice and increased premiums. It’s time to stand up for your liberty and freedom and support a full repeal of Obamacare.

Years of increased government bureaucracy and reckless spending have resulted in higher taxes for millions of Americans. These days it is tough to save money, and many parents are now having to send their children to run down schools. Changes to our healthcare system mean families will have less choice and control.

The RGGI is creating an artificial market in carbon permits. The Result? Higher taxes and loss of jobs. Electric rates could rise up to 90% because of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. Say No to the RGGI

A recent study by the House Transport and Infrastructure Committee showed the privately contracted airport baggage screeners at San Francisco International airport processed 65% more passengers per screener than their TSA employed counterparts at Los Angeles International Airport. TSA screeners at Chicago O’Hare and LAX also missed three times as many hidden bomb materials compared to the private contractors at San Francisco International airport. These figures demonstrate that competition and free market enterprise clearly works, whereas burdensome self-regulatory government agencies like the TSA do not work.

Champions for Change would like to see the total elimination of the wasteful and inefficient government agencies such as the GSA (General Services Administration), and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Other agencies that place an unnecessary burden on tax payers such as the EPA (Enviromental Protection Agency) and the Department of Education should be amalgamated with other agencies in order to reduce spending costs.
